Should a person be turned 75 and more on the day when he/she is getting the vaccine? No, a person can start to vaccinate at the age of 74, but it is important that he/she would turn 75 by 30/11/21 if he/she has not been vaccinated before. Or by 31/03/22, if a person is getting the booster vaccine.

When is the deadline to get a vaccine?
If a person 75 years old and above is not vaccinated by 01/09/2021, in this case, he/she should get vaccines by 30/11/21 by a full vaccination scheme. In the case of COVID-19 disease and because that person could not get his/her vaccine by the mentioned time, he/she should get at least one vaccine between 01/12/21 and 30/03/2022. In case a person 75 years old and above wishes to receive a lump sum payment following vaccination against COVID-19, he/she should get the booster vaccine until the end of March 2022.

What does it mean “full vaccination scheme” and “booster vaccine”?
Full vaccination scheme.  When a person got two doses against COVID-19 (“Comirnaty”, “Spikevax”, “Vaxzevria”) or he/she is vaccinated with one dose (“Janssen”) or got one vaccine after the COVID-19 disease.
Booster vaccine. When a person was vaccinated with three doses – if his/her vaccination scheme consists of two doses. When a person was vaccinated with two doses – if his/her vaccination scheme consists of one dose and if he/she has overcome COVID-19 disease.

Will a person receive the payment following vaccination against COVID-19 both after the vaccination by a full vaccination scheme and after the booster vaccine?
No, it is a lump–sum payment of 100 EUR.

Does a lump–sum payment belong to a person who got his/her third vaccine before the mentioned deadline?
Yes, a lump–sum payment will be paid to a person 75 years old and above, who was vaccinated with a booster dose by the day of the legislation of Law (28/10/2021).

Should a person fill in an application in order to receive a lump–sum payment?
No. All necessary data will be checked in the Register.

When will the payment of 100 EUR be paid to recipients?
If a recipient of a pension or any other “Sodra” benefit gets the payment in his/her bank account, in this case, a lump–sum payment will be paid next month after he/she gets full vaccination. If a pension or other “Sodra” benefit is being delivered to his/her home, a lump–sum will be paid no later than 30/04/22.

Will the received lump–sum payment have an impact on, for example, compensation for heating?
No, because a lump–sum of 100 EUR will not be calculated into a person’s or family’s income. Because of that, this will have no impact on any compensation or benefits, as well as on the payment for social services.

What to do if a person 75 and above get vaccinated abroad?
It is necessary that the data showing vaccination facts would be in Lithuania's e.health system. If they are not entered, a person must visit any health institution with documents proving vaccination facts. This institution will enter this data into the e.health system.
